What is included
What Runday does for a barbershop
Everything below is built and working today.
Online booking, with no account for your clients
Your shop gets its own booking page. The client picks a service, their barber if they want one, a day and a time, leaves a name and phone number, and the appointment lands on your calendar right away.
No app to download, no account to create
Only truly free times are offered: opening hours, each barber’s schedule and time off
In French or English, the client chooses
Off until you turn it on, one location at a time
Walk-ins, handled like everyone else
The Today screen shows who is waiting, in order of arrival, next to the day’s appointments. A walk-in is added in seconds, and their cut counts in sales and pay like any other.
A queue in order of arrival
The client’s name is optional
Checked out straight from the queue
Commissions and tips, worked out on every sale
Each barber has a percentage on services and another on products. The moment a sale is checked out their pay updates, and they see the same number you do, on their phone.
Every tip goes in full to the barber who did the cut
An optional threshold: only what is above it earns commission
Pay weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or monthly
A statement per pay period, marked paid in one tap
Chair rental, tracked without a spreadsheet
A barber who rents a chair pays you weekly rent and keeps their own sales and tips. Runday keeps track of what they owe and what they have paid, and keeps their sales separate from the shop’s.
Renters and commission barbers in the same shop
A new rent starts on the Monday you choose, without rewriting past weeks
Renters see their sales, tips and rent in their own portal
Clients who come back
Every client has a profile: their visits, their services and your notes. Runday spots the regulars who are late coming back by their own rhythm, not a fixed six-week rule, and drafts a message for you to send.
Each client’s no-show count, shown when you book them
Tomorrow’s reminders, ready to send from your own phone, with no texting fees
Your client list imported from your old app’s export file
Your numbers, without digging
Open the app and you see today’s sales, appointments done and still to come, and no-shows. Every Monday morning a short summary of the week arrives by email. Up to 25 locations on one account.
Each barber sees only their own schedule and earnings
A front desk login for whoever runs the counter
Each team member picks their own language, English or French
Pricing
No hidden fees, ever
What makes barbers angry at other apps is not the monthly price. It is the fees they never saw coming. Runday refuses all of them.
No per-barber fee
0% of your sales and of your new clients
Nothing charged to your clients to book
No setup fee, no contract
All your data exported in one click
Free during the beta, and the price shown before you pay anything
Card payments go through your own terminal (Square, Moneris or another), which keeps its usual fees. Those fees are theirs, not ours.

What is coming
So you know exactly what to expect. None of this is in the app today.
Booking deposits
An optional deposit, kept on a no-show and taken off the bill otherwise.
Yes. The owner can be bookable themselves, with their own schedule and services. You do not need a team to use it.
I rent out chairs and also have commission barbers. Does that work?
Yes. Each barber has their own pay model, commission or chair rental. Both live in the same shop, and renters’ sales stay separate from the shop’s.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No. They book from a web page on their phone or computer, with their name and phone number. No account, no password.
I use Booksy, Fresha or Square. Can I switch?
Yes. If your current app exports your clients as a CSV file, Runday brings in names, phone numbers, emails, notes and each client’s last visit. Past appointments and past sales do not transfer: your reports start the day you open here.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the beta. Prices are not set yet. They will be shown before you pay anything, with no per-barber fee and no percentage of your sales.
When can I start?
Accounts open at the start of summer 2027. Join the waitlist to be among the first.
Is it all in French?
Yes, and in English: the app, your clients’ booking page and the emails. Each person on your team picks their own language.
